REMOVABLE PROSTHETICS

Whether you are missing a single tooth or multiple teeth, a removable prosthetic can help in replacing missing teeth.

These include temporary/interim partial denture commonly referred to as a 'flipper', permanent partial denture, complete denture, immediate or 'same day' denture, and implant supported denture.

A partial denture is used to replace one or more missing teeth in the presence of existing healthy teeth. This appliance anchors on to the existing teeth giving itself a good retention and fit. Partial dentures can be made with a combination of metal and acrylic as well as a full acrylic material giving a natural, gum-like appearance to the appliance.

In cases where all teeth are missing or non-restorable and need to be extracted a complete denture is required. A complete denture given to the patient on the same day as when the extractions are done is called an immediate denture.

Implant supported dentures are the gold standard in removable prosthetics currently and provide the best fit, comfort, and retention so you don't have to worry about ill-fitting dentures and can have very natural looking teeth.
